Libraté is designed from the ground up to support multiple languages. We aim to preserve stories across language barriers, rather than separating communities. One library. Every language.

How Libraté Works

(Pronounced 'Lee-b-rah-tay')

Every year, myriads of remarkable stories go unread. Not for the lack of beauty, lack of prose, not even because they are complex, but merely because they were written in a language the rest of the world can't read. Libraté exists to change that: to set them free from the chains of language.

Chapter 47

The Empty Throne

Shadow of the Forgotten Throne

The great hall was silent, save for the wind that crept through cracked windows. Chen Ming paused at the threshold, his hand resting on the hilt of a sword he had not drawn in three years.

The throne at the far end stood empty, as it had for nine winters. But the dust that should have settled thick upon its arms had been disturbed. Someone had been here.

A sound behind him. The faintest scrape of leather on stone. He did not turn. He did not need to.

One Extension, Every Site

Your reading list follows you anywhere

The Libraté extension reads chapter structure directly from the page, so it works on sites we have never seen before. Install once, and your library keeps itself.

It works on any site. Literally.

Works instantly across major reading hubs and custom translator blogs because we use a scoring engine to look for similarity: content selectors, title patterns like chapter 183 or ch 183, body length, URL shape, and hash fragments. If it looks like a novel chapter, feels like a novel chapter, it is a novel chapter. Thus, it tracks.

Ashes of the Astral Court

Chapter 247: The Flooded Gate

The river had swallowed the lower wards by the time Sera reached the gate. She counted the lanterns twice, because lanterns were the only things the flood had not yet learned to imitate. Below the court, something patient turned over in its sleep, and the water rose another finger's width.

Translator-First by Design

The people who carry stories across languages

On Libraté, translation groups are not footnotes in a source list. They are first-class members with their own pages, their own claims, and their own readers. Translators can send notifications on releases, customize their profile pages, manage official links, and build a direct readership.

Customizable group profiles

Every group gets a public home at /translator/slug, with verified members, official claims, and release history.

Verified claims and releases

Claim chapter ranges, publish official links, and protect your metadata from silent edits.

Direct release notifications

Series followers get alerts the moment chapters publish, and group followers hear about new projects.

Official links and support pages

Website, Discord, and donation destinations, all managed from one dashboard.
