Fei Ni preferred having a house over love. If it weren’t for the requirement to marry in order to get a house, Fei Ni would never have married Fang Muyang. To outsiders, it seemed as though Fei Ni had chosen Fang Muyang solely for his looks, as there was little else to commend him for beyond his handsome face. As time went on, Fang Muyang’s renown soared due to his exceptional talent in painting, and his parents’ social status was restored. Everyone praised Fei Ni’s discerning eye, acknowledging that she had recognized Fang Muyang’s latent brilliance long before others.
