Don’t Hate The Little Cockroach

“Don’t be so quick to hate me…” The human-sized c*ckroach, driven back by her scream, stood at the diagonally opposite corner of the room, facing Jiang Yunqing without moving.  “Alright, just stay there and don’t move, don’t rush towards me again!” Its long antennae quivered, clearly indicating the c*ckroach’s desire to approach Jiang Yunqing, even though she disliked it. She really detested it. ——————————- Considering the varying acceptance level of c*ckroaches, the following is a character exploration snippet: “I won’t!” He yelled in a loud voice, a tone he had never used before. Startled by his sudden outburst, she stood there, stunned and unsure how to react. The insect’s instincts were faster, and he quickly sensed her initial hesitation and the cautiousness that followed in her breath. He had scared her. “I won’t…” Perhaps, after she snapped out of it, she would once again avoid him, and he hurriedly laid down on the floor, exposing his vulnerable belly and pleading for her mercy. “I really don’t want to, please, I’m truly scared.” As expected, his spineless and pitiful demeanor evoked her familiar look of disgust. It seemed as if she didn’t want to look at him any longer, so she turned around and went back into her room. “Do as you wish,” she threw at him like a judgment before shutting the door firmly behind her. He flipped over and lay on the floor, letting out a sigh of relief. “It doesn’t matter if you despise me. Just don’t make me leave.” For a long time, he gazed longingly at the door that wouldn’t open again tonight, and then the c*ckroach crawled back under the sofa where he belonged. “Jiang Jiang, Jiang Jiang…” he yearned to sleep under her bed, even though she had long sealed off the space underneath it.
