Lost You Forever

Life is a series of meetings and partings, of forgetting and starting anew. Yet, there are always moments that, once they occur, leave indelible marks; there are always people who, once they appear, become unforgettable. The fated meeting at the town of Qing Shui has changed the destinies of everyone involved—perhaps even the fate of the entire Great Wilderness. All for the sake of a fleeting warmth, a touch of companionship, a devotion so deep it did not care when it might dissolve. Longing is like a poisoned goblet of fine wine—sweet as it slides down your throat, intoxicating and all-consuming. Once it reaches your heart and soul, there is no cure. When the poison strikes, it tears the heart apart; only the smile of the beloved can soothe it, only companionship can alleviate it. If that is unattainable, what remains is a deep, unending longing, enduring until death. If everything is destined, then when Xiao Yao and Tu Shan Jing meet, their eventual parting is inevitable. They are fated to love, yet unable to embrace it fully—and equally unable to forget.
