Yan Xiaoyang is a freelance writer, living in cheap hostels in the city, loves watching movies and buying lottery tickets. Shen Xuanwen has been unemployed for over two years after quitting his job, currently backpacking and traveling around, not even fixing his broken phone. The two share nothing in common, nor any intersection in their lives, until one day… Yan Xiaoyang overslept in a movie theater, and Shen Xuanwen got off at the wrong bus stop.
