Pure White Devil

With an eye shut and an eye open, he seemed to be diagnosed with dementia. He remembers not his name, but a vague recollection of the buddy he made a living with — a miraculous left eye. Just by looking at a corpse, the eye could determine its cause of death and its killer (if one exists, that is). Great, he can become “Holmes 2.0”, “Poirot’s Godson”, or “Conan’s Brother”…… He might as well visit the police station and take the civil service exam. But who would have thought the world to change so fast, in the blink of an eye, mu*der was no longer a crime. The “law” had long since departed from the world once upon a Halloween more than five hundred years ago. The future generation referred to that day as “End of the World”. Of course, humans are always exaggerating their words. The world was fine, there was no destruction, all that’s destroyed was just the society of mankind. Loud singing befits the dark alley. Revelry belongs in the depth of hell. Amidst the vast wilderness, must exist a kindler. When all have settled to dust, I will be the King of the world.
