“Do you know? Taking advantage of someone when they’re weak is a really dirty trick.” Kangju’s low voice seeped into her ear. Kangju’s hand touched her cheek. His large, firm palm brushed against Jaehee’s flushed cheek and wiped away her wet tears. “Pretending to comfort someone who’s crying and hitting on them is a really mean thing to do.” Jaehee closed her eyes. She felt a tongue licking away the tear that had fallen. She shrugged her shoulders at the chilly sensation. His lips, slowly descending down her cheek, were unbelievably gentle. When she carefully opened her eyes, she saw Kangju’s face, blurred through her tears. Jaehee murmured towards him as if confessing, “I… I like dirty and mean things.”
