What Lies Within

After changing jobs, Shen Duoyi encounters his new boss, Qi Shi’an. They had a brief entanglement during their youth. As misunderstandings clear up, they start over and grow closer, giving rise to sparks that eventually ignite a sweet romance. Qi Shi’an is a versatile senior trader skilled in fighting, diving, and finance. Shen Duoyi is a highly capable senior actuary with good looks, good character, and high emotional and intellectual intelligence. Both are academic elites — a suave top and a sweet bottom, both wealthy. The summary from hundreds of years ago: Shen Duoyi’s parents died in an accident when he was young, leaving him to be raised by his grandfather. As a teenager, he worked part-time jobs to support himself and ended up working as a server at an entertainment venue, where he unexpectedly encountered a young Qi Shi’an, who was already a patron at that age. Due to a misunderstanding, one thought the other was not a decent person, the other thought that he could be bought with money. When they meet again, it seems like a lifetime has passed.
